Last weekend, members and friends of Vietnamese Circle gathered to share thoughts and feelings around the topic “Sài Gòn Trong Tôi” (Saigon Through Our Lens). It turned out to be more than just a meetup – it felt like a small journey into the stories, melodies, and spirit that make Saigon special.
Through songs like the warm, gentle “Sài Gòn đẹp lắm,” the everyday rhythm of “Sài Gòn cà phê sữa đá,” and the playful nostalgia of “Ông Bà Anh,” we didn’t just learn new words. We discovered memories, laughter, and what Saigon means to each of us beyond vocabulary alone.
It was a day filled with smiles, conversations, and small moments that quietly connected us as a community. Many of us left carrying not only new words, but also a small piece of Saigon’s soul – the part that lives in music, stories, and shared memories.
