Monthly Minimum Class Hours Policy

You are expected to complete at least 50% of your monthly scheduled class hours. Otherwise, at least 50% of the monthly registered class hours, regardless of how many hours are actually completed, will be deducted from your overall course duration.

Payment Term

All payments must be made at least 7 (seven) business days prior to the first day of class.
All bank transfer fees and other related fees must be covered by the payer and may not be deducted from the amount remitted.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, card payments and credit/debit cards.

Foreign Currency Payments

For payments not in VND, the exchange rate of the day will be applied at the time of payment. Currency conversions will fluctuate with the daily variations in the exchange rates.

No Refund Policy

All payments and deposits are non-refundable.

Payment Transfer

You may transfer your unused payment amount to another student. To do so, you must submit a request to Vietnamese Language Studies before the expiration date of your course/service.
Vietnamese Language Studies will then convert the payment amount to the appropriate class hours based on the new class schedule, location, size and format. Even after being transferred, the expiration date will remain unchanged.

Class Cancellation

Any class cancellation request must be submitted directly to the responsible teacher or customer service representative or assigned academic advisor/consultant via text message/phone call 6 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time or via email 24 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time. Otherwise, cancelled classes are neither made up nor refunded.

The teacher must notify you (the student) of any class cancellation via text message/phone call 6 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time or via email 24 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time. Otherwise, the teacher will then have to conduct a make-up class session of the same duration as the cancelled class session at no charge.

Over-two-week Absence

If you plan to be absent for two weeks or more, please kindly inform the responsible teacher or customer service representative or assigned academic advisor/consultant at least 7 (seven) business days in advance. Class hours will be deducted as follows:

Option #1: Only the actual number of class hours completed in the month you’re off will be deducted from your overall course duration. However, Vietnamese Language Studies will arrange a new class
or classes for your current instructor to ensure his/her minimum monthly teaching target.
Upon your return, Vietnamese Language Studies will try to reschedule you with the same instructor.
In case that your instructor is no longer available, another instructor will be assigned to your class.

Option #2: You can continue to study with your current instructor only if you choose to have 50%
of your registered monthly class hours deducted from your overall course duration as explained in the Monthly Minimum Class Hours Policy.

Group Class Cancellation

A group-class cancellation must be agreed by all members of the class.
Class cancellation requests must be submitted directly to the responsible teacher or customer service representative or assigned academic advisor/consultant via text message/phone call 6 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time or via email 24 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time. Otherwise, cancelled classes are neither made up nor refunded.

The teacher must notify the students of any class cancellation via text message/phone call 6 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time or via email 24 working hours prior to the scheduled class start-time. Otherwise, the teacher will then have to conduct a class session of the same duration as the cancelled class session at no charge.
