[CLOSED] Vietnamese language instructor (Giáo viên dạy tiếng Việt cho người nước ngoài)

Responsibilities
  • Complete the Vietnamese Language and Culture Teachers Training Program
  • Plan, prepare and deliver on-campus (Saigon Branch – former District 1, Thao Dien Branch – former District 2 and Phu My Hung Branch – former District 7), off-campus and online Vietnamese lessons to individual students or groups of students
  • Develop and use a variety of teaching activities and assignments based on student’s proficiency levels, needs, goals and class curricula to help students improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a dynamic, engaging, interactive and effective learning environment
  • Provide students all the assistance needed to ensure a learning progress and facilitate an overall welcoming learning and social environment
  • Accurately evaluate students’ performances and compose relevant progress reports to communicate information to the relevant parties
  • Participate in periodic training and development programs to stay up to date with industry specific skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to facilitate daily operational responsibilities, including but not limited to recruiting new students, scheduling lessons, promoting schoolwide activities, providing excellent customer services, adhering to classroom policies, etc.
Requirements
  • Vietnamese nationality
  • Bachelor’s degree(s) or higher in linguistics or foreign languages.
  • Excellent Vietnamese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with a clear and distinctive Vietnamese Southern accent or Northern accent.
  • Good understanding of and appreciation for Vietnamese language, culture and traditions
  • High motivation to teach Vietnamese and work with international students
  • Good command of Korean, Chinese, or Japanese language skills
  • Ability to lead an interactive and spontaneous classroom
  • Clear diction, lateral thinking, positive can-do attitude
  • Patient, friendly, dedicated, confident and flexible
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Willing to commute to and between different class locations within Ho Chi Minh City
  • Advanced computer skills

Recruitment Process
  • Review applications and select suitable candidates for invitation to the initial screening
  • Organize an introductory session to introduce VLS and relevant regulations
  • Conduct interviews to assess the compatibility between candidates and VLS
  • Provide a trial teaching session (First trial) for VLS’s Academic Team
  • Conduct a second trial teaching session for VLS’s Academic Team
  • Sign a training agreement.
  • Provide specialized, in-depth training.
  • Evaluate after training and trial teaching with VLS students.
  • Assign the official class and commence the probation period.
  • Sign the employment contract and officially become a VLS teacher.

Mô tả công việc?

Dạy ngôn ngữ và văn hóa Việt Nam cho người nước ngoài đến từ nhiều nơi trên thế giới.

Ứng viên là ai?
  • Là người Việt Nam từ 22 đến 35 tuổi.
  • Có bằng cử nhân sư phạm ngoại ngữ trở lên hoặc có bằng cử nhân ngoại ngữ trở lên và chứng chỉ nghiệp vụ sư phạm. Nếu chưa có chứng chỉ nghiệp vụ sư phạm thì có thể học bổ sung sau khi đạt các vòng tuyển dụng của VLS.
  • Yêu thích việc giảng dạy và làm việc với người nước ngoài.
  • Định hướng đây là một công việc nghiêm túc, lâu dài.
  • Có tinh thần học hỏi, không ngại khó, trung thực.
  • Tiếng Anh giao tiếp tốt. Ứng viên biết thêm tiếng Hàn, Nhật, Trung là một lợi thế.

– VLS Quận 2: 43A – 43B Xuân Thủy, P. An Khánh, TP. HCM

– VLS Quận 7: 82 Nam Phúc – Le jardin, Đường C, P. Phú Mỹ Hưng, TP. HCM

– Các quận khác trong TP. HCM (dạy off-campus) và các lớp dạy trực tuyến qua Zoom và/hoặc MS Teams)

Thời gian làm việc?

– Thời gian mở khung giờ trống để nhận lớp: Thứ 2 – Chủ nhật, 8h – 21h 

– Số giờ mở rảnh để nhận lớp tối thiểu: 230 giờ

– Số giờ dạy tối thiểu trong tháng: 70 giờ
