On September 30th – October 1st, 2023, the 2023 Mid-Autumn Charity Trip brought a warm Mid-Autumn season to households and children in cluster 5, hamlet 3, Mã Đà Commune, Đồng Nai Province.
Throughout our 15-year journey, the charity program organized by Vietnamese Language Studies (VLS) has undoubtedly thrived thanks to the unwavering support and partnership of our sponsors, compassionate individuals, dedicated volunteers, our students, staff, and teachers at VLS. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you, with a special shout-out to our Platinum Sponsor this year – Austin Home Interiors (AHI), for choosing to embark on this charitable mission with us.
Representatives of AHI, Ms. Nguyễn Phan Quỳnh Như and Mr. Nguyễn Đăng Khai, who graciously dedicated their weekend to actively participate in a range of activities alongside VLS and our volunteers. These activities included:
- Visited residential area
- Inspected a water filtration system
- Assisted in the preparation of gifts for local households
- Engaged enthusiastically in our ‘Exchange Recyclables for Gifts’ activity
- Immersed in our Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration and distributed heartwarming gifts to both children and the elderly
In addition to these initiatives, they had the delightful opportunity to make new friends, savor the beauty of nature, stroll beneath the moonlight with lanterns, and participate in traditional Vietnamese games.
