“Bất” nghĩa là không.
“Tòng” nghĩa là phục tùng, nghe theo.
“Tâm” nghĩa là ý muốn trong lòng
Câu này được dùng trong trường hợp khi ai đó rất muốn làm một việc gì đó, nhưng vì sức lực hoặc năng lực hoặc nguồn lực nói chung không có hoặc không đủ nên không thể làm được nên đành từ bỏ.

“Bất” means not.
“Tòng” means to obey.
“Tâm” means wish/intention/will in one’s heart
It is used in the situation when someone really wants to do something, but his/ her resources – finance/ power/ skills are not available or not enough, so he/she has to give it up.
