The 2022 Mid-Autumn Fundraising Event Series

The annual mid-autumn charity trip of VLS will be held on September 10-11, 2022 at Hamlet 2, Mã Đà, Vĩnh Cửu, Đồng Nai. On the trip, VLS is going to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival for the local children, donate money & participate in maintaining the forest road to hamlet 2 and 3, set up a system of 12 solar-powered street lights, give scholarships and gifts to the locals and children.

At the moment, VLS is going to organize some traditional workshops to raise fund for the trip. Check out our fun and interesting workshops relating to mid-autumn festival.

Lotus Leaf Eco-Art Workshops

Lotus flowers emerge from the mud to grow and bloom whole, beautiful and unstained. Each lotus leaf has its distinctive pattern like a human fingerprint.

Lanterns Making Workshops

Join us and learn how to turn delicate, translucent paper, glue and a bamboo frame into a gorgeous traditional paper lantern.

Then let your pain strokes befriend your creativity, getting your lantern colored up for this year’s lovely Mid-Autumn Festival.

Mooncake Making Workshops

Traditional mooncakes are regarded as an indispensable delicacy of the Mid-Autumn Festival season. Imagine sitting with your friends and loved ones under the moonlight, enjoying the sweet mooncakes and a cup of tea as you admire the bright, mesmerizing moon.

Vietnamese Coffee Workshop

HQJ Coffee School is the first and the only Specialty Coffee Association Premier Training Campus in Vietnam that is fully certified for all five subjects in SCA Coffee Skills Program including Green coffee, Roasting, Sensory, Brewing and Barista.
