Q: May I study at noon? For lunch time?
It’s totally ok. We will arrange the teacher for you.
Q: I don’t know clearly whether I can study or not , how can I do?

Q: Before starting class, can I choose and meet the teacher?
VLS will send you some CVs of the teachers. You can choose from and VLS will arrange the meeting for you.
Q: How about the material (text book) for studying?
All are included in the course fee (40-hour-and above course). With the intermediate and advanced level, the teacher will prepare the learning material for you.
Q: At your school, do you have the certificate when I finish my coure?
Yes. After a 40-hour course, we will have an evaluate test and issue the certificate for you.
Q: What kind of Vietnamese do you teach?
We will adjust the learning program depending on your goals when learning Vietnamese. Our training program and methods will increase your interaction with Vietnamese locals, strengthen your practical language skills and build strong connections with the Vietnamese culture and community. Speaking and listening skills are the priority at the initial Join-in and Connect levels. Reading, essay writing, discussion and presentation skills are developed in the Share and Like Family levels.
Q: How about your teachers?
Our teachers are well-trained and experienced. In addition to holding a bachelor’s or a master’s degree, each teacher must pass 2 rounds of interview, undergo approximately three months of intensive training in Vietnamese language and language teaching methods, complete two additional months of in-depth training, accumulate 100 hours of practice teaching at VLS and participate in periodic training programs.
Also, our teaching method is communicative method which helps the student to improve listening and speaking skills quickly so that they feel confident to communicate in Vietnamese.
Q: The tuition fee is expensive.

Q: During the study time, if I don’t feel satisfied with your teaching method and want to stop studying, can I get my payment back?
I am sorry to say that all payments or deposits are non-refundable. However, when you come to VLS, you expect us to help you speak well with Vietnamese. So if there is any problem with our teaching method, VLS will adjust right away so that you will be able to study well.
Q: Could you tell me about the form of course payment?
VLS accepts payment in VND by cash, credit card and bank transfer. ACB Bank’s selling rate is applied when payment is made in USD.
Q: If all members in my group want to take day-off at the same time, what should we do?
A written notice must be given to the teacher and customer service at least 12 working hours in advance. Otherwise, all the members of the group will be charged as normally. The maximum of group cancellation is 3 times for the whole course.
Q: In group class, is it possible for me to have make-up class, just in case of individually having day-off?
Free make-up classes are not offered. If make-up classes are requested, free make-up lessons in another group classes are offered (if we have suitable class for you). If private make-up lessons are required, you will be charged at the private tutorial rate.
Q: In private class, if I cannot take class a specific date due to private reason, is it ok for me to cancel class and have make-up class after?
In occasional class cancellation: you directly have to give your teacher a 6-hour-prior notice via text, phone call or 24-hour-prior notice via email, otherwise the class will be charged as normally.
Q: What if I have to go abroad for working for a month? Is it possible for me to continue after business trip?
Absolutely you can. With 40-hour course you will have 5 months to complete (We count the number of hours per week, then we trick objection)
Q: In one-on-one class, is it possible for me to adjust my studying time every week?
The biggest advantage you get from private class is that you are completely active in your study time (you are very busy and often travel for business). However, fixed schedules are recommended because your teacher has other classes to teach. But don’t worry too much about it. If you’ve got to travel business or have something to do in urgent, you can arrange with your teacher to have the most suitable schedule.
Q: What are the benefits of small groups of 3-5 and larger groups of 6-8?
- Small groups of 3-5: Small classes offer a great opportunity to learn and practice Vietnamese in a fun and relaxed environment.
- Larger groups of 6-8: Helping to save money with low-cost class and great opportunity to learn from your classmates.
Q: The advantages and disadvantages of one-to-one class
Advantages:
- Students will have more opportunity to practice speaking and listening in Vietnamese than they might in a group class.
- Students’ strengths and weaknesses are addressed more consistently and fully without the competition of other students.
- Students are completely active in your studying time.
Disadvantages:
- It can be difficult to measure progress without other students to compare with
