On Wednesday, 21th September, the students of Union College and Hobart and William Smith Colleges had finished their learning Vietnamese term at VLS. After having finished their tests, they had a precious time learning how to make “gỏi cuốn” – a traditional and easy making dish of Vietnamese people.
The ladies were in their áo dài (the traditional dress of Vietnam) and they look beautiful in it.
After 3 weeks and a half learning Vietnamese at VLS, they were confident enough to take the tests with their teachers. Despite the stressful tests ahead, everyone seemed to be jubilant.
And even after the tests...
Then, the gỏi cuốn making session began. With the conscientious direction from Mrs Bình - VLS's managing director, everyone could make their own gỏi cuốn. The ingredients were boiled shrimps, boiled pork, noodle and a lot of herbs.
And then they could enjoy their brilliant works with the delicious homemade sauce.
VLS hopes all the students of Union College and Hobart and William Smith Colleges will hit a home run and remember us with most beautiful memories!
